In Person & Virtual - Ages 18+
Channing is a compassionate and dedicated therapist committed to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with empathy and understanding. Specializing in work with adults 18 and older, Channing supports clients who are ready to break free from patterns of unhappiness, fear, and stagnation. She particularly enjoys working with individuals experiencing grief and loss, exploring identity, managing anxiety and depression, or coping with times of transition and upheaval.
Believing that motivation is the key to meaningful transformation, Channing helps clients harness their inner strengths and take actionable steps toward change. Viewing clients as the experts of their own experiences, she creates a safe and collaborative therapeutic space where self-exploration and growth can flourish. Through gentle challenges and compassionate guidance, clients develop self-awareness and gradually implement small but significant changes that lead to self-actualization and empowerment.
Channing’s therapeutic approach is client-centered and relational, grounded in the belief that therapy is a collaborative journey rather than a directive process. She integrates humor, authenticity, and a strengths-based perspective while drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed care, and Motivational Interviewing. Recognizing the broader systems that shape clients' self-worth and worldviews, Channing helps them explore these influences with curiosity and insight.
Above all, Channing strives to create a nonjudgmental and supportive environment where clients feel truly seen, understood, and empowered to move toward a more fulfilling and aligned life.
